The glittering Viridian Empire on the Jade Coast is the last stronghold of magic, where the last dragon fell and the very few remaining wizards in the world still live. Not all in the Viridian Empire is peaceful, however, as a small territory proclaims its independence in retaliation for a mining project that’s gone real sour real quickly. Neighbouring empires try to take advantage of the insurgence, and draw a brilliant red target on Prince Auris’ back in attempt to end the current dynasty; but now his wife, a mysterious woman only known as Autumn Snow, stands in their way.
This story’s been bothering me for the last several weeks, and I’ve been trying to get it outlined and figured out so I can write it. So far, very little luck but everyone has a name now so that’s better than I was doing! Lol It has absolutely no connections whatsoever to the Shade Cycle, so this one’s completely standalone.
